Biography
Evija's bio ENG
Evija Mirķe was born in Valmiera. She obtained secondary education at Rūjiena Secondary School and studied in Rodengymnasium in Norrtälje, Sweden.

During the last seven years Evija has worked in Riga Technical University, Kindergarten "Ketes māja", Riga Centre Humanitarian Secondary School, Riga Secondary School No.6, and National Centre for Education (project “Competency-based approach in learning curriculum”).

Evija is a Board member of "Augam kopā" Ltd., “EM konsultāciju centrs” Ltd. Her scientific interests relate to AI in education, e-learning, remote learning, learning design, algorithmic thinking, and robotics in kindergarten.
